- Join Amani United Housing & Economic Development co-chairs Christal and Jarvis West as they host another Milwaukee Sleep Out to bring education on homelessness and advocate for people in need. Tour the decked-out, heated tents and join demonstrations on outdoor cooking, health and well-being, domestic violence, survival skills, men’s wellness and homelessness. Join one of many community conversations being sparked by this project and explore neighborhood safety and family well-being. We’ll have a live read-a-thon and all are invited to read their favorite book or poem. We’ll also have comment outreach and resources from local organizations.
